Pre-parenting
The Pre-parenting Education Project was initiated to provide support to Extension educators who work with local middle and high school educators in the implementation of the NYS mandate for parenting education as a graduation requirement for high school. The project included several professional trainings for Extension educators and teacher partners, the production of a new resource manual, "Promoting Best Practices for School based Parenting Education", and the piloting of this new resource with Extension educators at three state locations through distance learning technology.
